Revolut is one of the payment methods listed on your invoice for settling your deposit or balance with Safari Acacia. It is a digital banking app that sends an international transfer directly from your phone, at the real exchange rate, usually arriving within 1 to 2 working days. The steps below walk through sending a payment from start to finish, using the same screens you will see in the Revolut app.
Why Use Revolut
Revolut applies the real mid market exchange rate, with no hidden markup, and shows it clearly before you send. Transfer fees are among the lower end for international payments, with better rates again on Premium and Metal plans. Most international transfers arrive within 1 to 2 working days, and some arrive within hours. The app supports more than twenty five currencies, so you can send in whichever currency suits you, and Revolut handles the conversion. Every transfer can be tracked in real time within the app, with a notification once it arrives, and the platform is regulated, with two factor authentication and fraud monitoring built in.
If You Do Not Already Use Revolut
Setting up an account takes a few minutes. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play, or use the web version at revolut.com. Sign up with your email and phone number and set a password, then verify your identity with a government issued ID, such as a passport, driving licence or national ID, along with a short selfie check. Once verified, add funds by linking a debit card, connecting your bank account, or transferring in from another account, and you are ready to send your first payment.
It is worth completing identity verification as soon as you sign up, since transfer limits may apply until it is finished, and verification can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours.
How to Send Your Payment
Once you are logged in and verified, sending your deposit or balance takes about five minutes.
Start a New Payment and Choose International
Launch Revolut and log in. Open the Payments tab and tap the plus, or Add New, button to reach the New payment screen. Tap International, which sends money to a bank account in another country.
Choose Business, India and Indian Rupee
On the Add recipient screen, switch from Individual to Business, since Safari Acacia Travel Agency is a registered business. Then set the country of the recipient's account to India and the currency to Indian Rupee. The fields below change to match an Indian bank account.
Enter Safari Acacia's Bank Details
The complete bank details are provided on your invoice. Enter them in the fields below exactly as they appear there. Revolut shows the bank's name beneath the IFSC code, which is a useful check that you have typed it correctly.
Double check every character before continuing. A single digit out of place can delay your payment or send it to the wrong account.
Add the Recipient's Address
For transfers to India, Revolut is required to collect the recipient's address, and transfers with an invalid address are rejected. With India selected, tap Search address and start typing, or enter the address details by hand in the next step.
Complete the Address and Add the Recipient
Fill in the address fields using Safari Acacia's business address, then tap Add recipient. Address line 2 and the state are optional.
Enter the Amount
With the recipient saved, Revolut opens the amount screen, headed by Safari Acacia Travel Agency and its bank details. Enter the exact amount shown on your invoice. The amount is entered in Indian rupees, and Revolut shows what it will cost you in your own currency just beneath it.
Check the Fee, Add Your Invoice Number, and Continue
Once you have entered an amount, Revolut shows the total cost in your own currency with the fee included, and the estimated arrival date at the bottom of the screen. If the account selector turns red, the account you chose does not hold enough funds, so top it up or pick another account.
The Reference box is pre filled with "Sent from Revolut". Replace it with your invoice number, which is how we match your payment to your booking. Then tap Continue.
Review, Confirm and Authenticate
Check the recipient's name and account details, the amount Safari Acacia will receive, the fee, and the estimated delivery date. Once everything matches your invoice, confirm the payment.
For security, Revolut will then ask you to authenticate the transfer, usually with your passcode, fingerprint or face recognition, or a code sent to your phone. Complete this and the transfer is on its way.
Track and Confirm
You will receive an in app confirmation. Return to the Payments tab at any time to see the transfer's live status. Once it has been sent, email the transfer reference, or a screenshot of your confirmation, to info@safariacacia.com along with your invoice number, so we can match it to your booking straight away.
Transfer Times & Costs
International bank transfers usually arrive within 1 to 2 working days, and sometimes within hours, depending on the destination country and your bank. Transfers between the same currency within a region can be faster. Processing excludes weekends and public holidays, so a transfer sent on a Friday evening typically arrives the following Tuesday or Wednesday.
Fees depend on your Revolut plan and destination, and are always shown in the app before you confirm, with no hidden charges. Standard plans carry a small fee for transfers outside your home region, while Premium and Metal plans offer discounted rates for frequent senders. In every case, the exchange rate itself is the real mid market rate, with no markup added.

Do I need to verify my identity to use Revolut?
Yes. Revolut is regulated and requires identity verification. You provide a government issued ID and take a short selfie. This typically takes 5 to 30 minutes, though it can take longer depending on document review.
Is my money secure with Revolut?
Revolut is regulated, holds customer funds with partner banks, and uses bank level encryption. Your account is protected by two factor authentication, biometric security and real time fraud monitoring.
Can I send money from outside my home country?
Yes. Revolut supports transfers to more than 140 countries. As long as your account is active and verified, you can send from anywhere, though transfer times and fees may vary slightly by location.

What exchange rate will I get?
Revolut applies the real mid market exchange rate, the same rate banks use, with no markup. This is shown in the app before you confirm, so you know exactly how much Safari Acacia will receive.
Can I save Safari Acacia's details for future payments?
Yes. After your first transfer, Revolut saves the recipient details automatically. For your balance payment, you can simply select Safari Acacia from your saved recipients.
What if I enter the bank details incorrectly?
An incorrect detail can cause the transfer to be rejected or delayed, so always check Safari Acacia's account details against your invoice before sending. If you do notice an error after sending, contact us immediately at info@safariacacia.com, sometimes a transfer can still be intercepted or recovered.
