Diphlu River Lodge enjoys a prime location near Kaziranga National Park, just 7 km from the Bagori Gate and close to other park entrances, offering excellent accessibility for wildlife enthusiasts. It is approximately 220 km from Guwahati Airport and 80 km from Jorhat Airport, making it convenient for travelers. The nearest prominent town, Bokakhat, is a short drive away, ensuring access to local amenities while remaining immersed in nature.   • Arrival at the Guwahati Airport (Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport) around noon and journey to Kaziranaga in an AC Vehicle (About 220 kms & 4 hours 30 minutes)
  • Arrival at the Diphlu River Lodge by evening and check-in at the resort. Spend the evening at leisure at the Resort’s Hilltop (Open area with Bamboo grove) or the Sit out deck by the pond followed by dinner at Machan, DRL’s raised jungle platform which serves as an air conditioned dining hall.
  • Night stay at one of DRL’s beautiful & sustainable air conditioned cottages in anticipation of the exciting wildlife safaris in the coming days.
  • Breakfast is followed by the Morning Safari in a 4×4 open Suzuki jeep accompanied by a resident naturalist. While some of the prominent residents include the Asiatic Elephants, Water Buffaloes & the flagship One-horned Rhinos, one might be able to spot the illusive predators like a tiger or a leopard!
  • Lunch is served at the Resort followed by the afternoon safari.

The guests can visit the Silk & Handicraft outlet nearby in the evening to explore traditional products & the famous muga silk.

  • Head out towards Silghat (about an hours drive from the Resort) for a Boat Cruise (Depending on the weather condition) on the mighty brahmaputra in search of the Gangetic River Dolphin and numerous bird species.
  • One can experience the nearby village life or tea gardens after the safari
  • A lunch at the Resort is followed by another afternoon 4×4 open jeep Safari at the National Park
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the resort
  • Your final day at the Diphlu River Lodge starts with breakfast and a morning Safari. Keep an eye out for Great Hornbills or Grey-headed Fish Eagles. The park is also home to a variety of deers such as Eastern Swamp Deer, Barking Deer, Sambar, Hog Deer.
  • Proceed to the Guwahati Airport after the safari in an AC vehicle to avail the evening flight.
